The unemployment numbers are ugly and well known. 9.1% unemployment. 13% unemployment when you count people who have been out of work for 6 months+. Brutal.

In such a terrible job environment, you read story after story of people sending out hundreds of resumes. Or 10 interviews and no job offer. I'm definitely sympathetic.
